I am huge fan of gift wrapping. True story ~ during the holidays, my family refers to me as "Snowflake the Elf" because I wrap all the presents, even ones that are for me.
It's an entire production. Each year around this time, I start thinking about what I want my "theme" to be. (Every serious gift wrapper has a theme). I've done super sparkly, metallic colors, classic Christmas, buffalo plaid, Candyland, you name it!
Once I narrow down the theme, I start gathering supplies. Sometimes the theme can change slightly depending on what I'm able to find (one year I was searching high and low for blush colored ribbon, but I couldn't find anything! So I ended up switching to gold).
Here is what is usually on my list:
- Wrapping paper - I stick with one to two styles of wrap depending on the theme
- Ribbon(s) - several styles/sizes/patterns. Some gifts require understated ribbon and others need the large wired ribbon, so it's good to have a variety
- Accents - anything from ornaments, bits of nature, figurines, etc. This is a really fun part of the shopping process
- Gift Tags - the last thing I look for because it's pretty easy to find something neutral enough to match. I always go for the tags that tie on versus the stickers
As you can see, gift wrapping is a pretty big deal, so naturally, I needed to make a big deal of our gift wrapping for Wear the Wonder. I want to make sure you have the best unboxing experience possible.
Combining tissue, stickers, some paper and a little ribbon, I think our packages make the cutest little deliveries, don't you?
